Safety and Prevention

My prudent and responsible driving contributes to maintaining my good driving record and keeps my automobile insurance premium affordable.

I do not drive when I’ve been drinking alcohol.

I respect speed limits, signs and I am focused on the road.

I keep a good distance between my vehicle and the one ahead of me.

Tips for preventing theft or vandalism

  • Close and lock the door and windows of your car when it’s parked and, if possible, park in a well-lighted area on a busy street.
  • Never leave valuables within sight of passers-by; hide them.
  • Make sure the vehicle’s alarm system is working.
  • Never leave a child alone in a vehicle.
  • Never leave a vehicle running without someone watching it, even for a few seconds.

When travelling, you can take certain precautions to ensure your safety.

  • Check the state of your tires; keep them in the condition appropriate to the season.
  • Keep a survival kit in the vehicle.
